Code to Flowchart Converter
Paste your program and get the lab-record flowchart in seconds. Then press ▶ Explain: the current line and its box light up together, the arrow taken flows, and the variables update at every step.
- C, C++, Java, Python and JavaScript
- Standard shapes: start/stop, input/output, process, decision
- Every box linked to its line of code
- Animated dry run with a variable trace table
- Export the flowchart, the trace table or a video
How it works
- Paste your code and a sample input
- The AI draws the flowchart
- Press ▶ Explain to watch it run
- Copy the trace table or export
Try it with
- int n, i, sum = 0; scanf("%d", &n); for (i = 1; i <= n; i++) sum = sum + i; printf("Sum = %d", sum);
- n = int(input()) fact = 1 for i in range(1, n + 1): fact = fact * i print(fact)
- int num = sc.nextInt(); if (num % 2 == 0) System.out.println("even"); else System.out.println("odd");
Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. Drawing by hand is always free and every account includes free AI credits. AI Flowchart Pro adds unlimited AI generation and every diagram type.
Does it run my code?
No. The AI reads the program and works out the dry run step by step, the same way you would on paper, so nothing is executed. It is most reliable for short programs like lab exercises (up to about 80 lines).
Which shapes does it use?
The standard flowchart symbols your record needs: ovals for start and stop, parallelograms for input and output, rectangles for processing and diamonds for decisions, with Yes / No on every branch.
Can I export it?
Yes — PNG, SVG, PDF, PowerPoint with an editable slide, Mermaid code and draw.io. You can also share a live link or present it full screen.
